Expected: Broadband equipment investment will slow in 2023 after three years of large-scale deployment

From 2022 to 2027, global broadband equipment spending is expected to exceed US$120 billion, and XGS-PON deployment will drive global PON equipment revenue from US$11.8 billion in 2022 to US$13.3 billion in 2027
A recently published report predicts that from 2022 to 2027, as service providers continue to expand their fiber and DOCSIS 3.1/4.0 networks while improving the reliability and sustainability of their broadband access networks , the global sales of PON equipment, Cable broadband access equipment and fixed wireless CPE will grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 0.2%.
The group's vice president of broadband access and home networking research said: "After three consecutive years of large-scale broadband network expansion and upgrades, service provider spending levels are expected to return to normal levels in 2023.
